02Branding & Identity

Who it is for

Best for.

A good fit for new organisations, growing businesses that have outgrown an improvised identity, and established teams preparing for a meaningful repositioning.

Common starting points
  • Creating a brand for a new business, product or service
  • Clarifying a brand that looks or sounds inconsistent
  • Preparing a stronger identity system for growth, fundraising or expansion

What this can include

What the work can include.

How we work

A clear path to delivery.

The scope changes with the brief. The working sequence stays simple.

  1. 01

    Discover

We learn how the business works, who it serves, what customers value and where the current brand creates confusion.

  2. 02

    Define

We agree a useful position, message direction and creative territory before developing the full identity.

  3. 03

    Build and hand over

We create the agreed system, test it across practical applications and prepare guidance your team can use.

Planning guidanceTiming, format and scope

Typical starting timeline

Timing is confirmed after scope, access, production needs and approvals are understood.

Engagement format

Brand work is normally scoped as a defined project, with optional rollout support for launch materials, templates or campaigns.

We confirm scope, responsibilities, fees and timing in writing before work begins.

Decision questions

Questions before you commit.

If your question is not covered, include it in the brief below.

Can you design only a logo?

We can discuss a tightly scoped identity need, but a useful logo still needs enough context to represent the business clearly. We will recommend the smallest responsible scope rather than add work without a reason.

Can you improve an identity without replacing everything?

Yes. We can audit what is already recognisable, keep the useful equity and focus the work on the parts that are limiting consistency or relevance.

Who owns the final brand assets?

Usage, ownership, source-file delivery and any third-party font or image licences are set out in the proposal before the project starts.
